Solution FLEET-P&D Pickup & delivery optimization FLEET for Pickup and Delivery

Thousands of stops, one route plan

FLEET-P&D plans the daily pickup and delivery rounds around your depots: which stops each vehicle serves, in which order, with which vehicle type, and which stops are better served by a partner, at the lowest total cost.

01 — SERVICE DAYS AND ZONING

The right day for every stop

FLEET-P&D selects the service day of every stop, within the days and visit frequencies each customer allows, so that each day's rounds cover a compact zone instead of crossing the whole area. The stops of each day are then grouped into multi-stop rounds within vehicle capacity, working hours and time windows, on real road distances.

02 — VEHICLE MIX AND MULTIPLE ROUNDS

The right vehicle, more than one round a day

Each route gets the vehicle type that fits its load, from vans to semi-trailers. When the working day allows it, a vehicle returns to the depot, reloads and runs a second round, so one vehicle and its fixed cost cover two routes.

03 — MAKE OR BUY

The right depot or partner for every zone

For every postal zone and every stop, FLEET-P&D weighs the cost of serving it in your own rounds, from either depot, against the price a partner charges for it, and selects the allocation with the lowest total cost across the whole operation, within the capacity of each depot. Zones can move from one depot to another, come back into your own rounds, or go to a partner; remote, low-density zones often cost less with a partner.

04 — DEPOT NETWORK AND LOCAL CONSOLIDATION

How many depots, and where

FLEET-P&D evaluates the number and location of depots against the full routing cost: free placement, a shortlist of candidate sites, or a mix of existing and new locations. Small shippers can also be grouped at local consolidation points within a driving distance you set, so a round collects one consolidated pickup instead of many small ones. Site and transport costs are weighed together, and the chart shows where one more depot stops paying for itself.
