FLEET-D turns the linehaul schedule into legal, cost-optimal driver routes: who drives which leg, from which home base, with every rest and every return home planned.

Driving limits, duty windows, rests, breaks and weekly cycles are all configurable, so the same engine applies FMCSA rules, EU 561/2006 or stricter company policies. FLEET-D only builds routes that respect them.
Recommendations follow the policies you set for each driver category: company drivers can be required to close their loops and come home, while owner-operators and subhaulers run open routes at their own rates. FLEET-D then selects, across all categories at once, the set of routes that covers the schedule at the lowest total cost while respecting each category's rules.
FLEET-D plans with both solo drivers and two-driver teams. A team can keep a truck moving while one driver rests, which suits long multi-day routes; solo drivers fit regional loops with frequent returns home. The crew for each route follows from your costs, service targets and rules.
FLEET-D can shift a departure within the time window allowed for it in the linehaul plan, so that two legs chain into one route with a legal rest and a single driver covers both.
FLEET-D reads the schedule from FLEET or from your current operation, applies your driver rules, and delivers the routes, timetables and driver pool your operation needs.
